Cloud Shell Editor - Quota exceeded - Where can I access my home directory?

I lost access to cloud shell editor due to weekly quota limit. I just need to access my home directory to download my entire project directory. So, I can continue working on it on my local VS Code. Where are they saved…? Is it in Storage bucket? It doesn’t seem so.

Hi,

There are stored at persistent disk attached to your cloud shell. You must wait until the date and time specified before you can use cloud shell again.

Thanks, Damian. Too bad I can’t access the files, but at least it’s good to know that’s how it is. Currently, the quota checking button is greyed out. So, I don’t even know when that reset date will be for me. I guess I will have to wait and see. Thanks!

I have the same issue. I have no way to check the quota limit or timeline. I can understand that I can't access the Cloud Shell VM without increasing the quota:

-Is there no way to access the home directory files, so I could use them in a Compute Engine VM ?

-Is there no way to increase the quota, even if there is a charge for using the Cloud Shell?
