Connect from a DAG running in composer to an AWS VPN

Hello all,

I need to connect from one of my DAGs (running in a GC Composer instance with Airflow) to a server which is running in an AWS VPN. I have  successfully set a VPN that allows my Ubuntu VMs connecting to it. However, I can not find a way to make that connection in my DAGs.

I have checked the route tables inside my GKE instances and have nothing to do with the ones in my Ubuntu VMs. 

Is there a way this can be acomplished?
