Converting my VM instance from Pay As You Go to Commitment to save cost?

Hi,

I have created 3 VM instance since 1 year, and everything is working fine, Google now advice me to do commitment for VM to reduce the cost, when I try it in Cost recommendation from Recommendation hub, I find I have to create new VM instance.

My question is, can I convert my VM instance what I'm using now, to commitment contract?
Or any advice to reduce the cost?

Actually, commitments are for VM’s you already have(you should configure your commitment with the same settings as your VM).

Additionally, please note commitment use discount does not apply for N1 shared-core machine type, or extended memory.
