Create instance as NFS

Hi 

I am new to gcp. I am trying to create NFS server from instance using persistence disk. Instead using Filestore, since it is to expensive. my question is, can i create NFS using persistence disk attach to the instance?

Yes, you can deploy an instance to create an NFS server with an SSD persistent disk attached in multi-writer mode. This mode provides NFS capabilities; however, this kind of disk needs specialized file systems such as GlusterFS or GFS2. I recommend you read this guide to get more information about how to attach SSD persistent disk in multi-writer mode to your VM instance.
