Downgrade Google Identity Platform back to Firebase Authentication

We used Firebase Authentication and were happy about it. Then I clicked the "migrate to Identity Platform" button — but that was a mistake. We don't use any of the advantages but end up paying the fees.

How can I downgrade it back to Firebase Authentication? I found that we can disable Identity Toolkit API — but won't it remove all the user records (which is definitely not an option)?

Hi  Momeditation,

As I understand you have enabled Cloud Identity Platform without realizing the billing implications that come with this upgrade and you want Identity Platform be disabled on your project, so you can continue using Firebase Authentication without incurring a bill.

I should note that, this change should be done by the Cloud Identity Platform engineering team and you need to create a private ticket in the Issue Tracker or if you have the Premium Support you can create a ticket and provide us with your project number so that we would be able to forward your request to the engineering team.

I also regret turning the identity platform on. 

It was the first time I felt like I was scammed by Firebase.
