Extract application logs from a gce virtual machine

Hello everyone ,

I want to extract application logs ( magento 2 in my case ) from a gce virtual machine.

Somebody can explain me how to do that , i tried to use the ops agent but he doesn't extract the application logs , only the instances , audit or user logs.

I hope someone could help me , i need this to analyse magento logs ( maybe with elasticsearch and kibana ) but i need in first to extract the logs from the virtual machine.

The Operations Agent is capable of gathering logs from third party applications. This includes gathering data from log files produced by your applications. Have you tried configuring the operations agents to fetch the Magento logs that are saved to /var/log?

Hi @JusteUncheck out this video to learn how to install and configure the Ops Agent to stream any third party application log into Cloud Logging. Hope this helps!
