If the email associated with your CPI credentials has changed, I would recommend letting your Training Program Administrator (TPA) know, so that they can update their records. The SAS checks your CPI ID, certificate file, and certificate password when validating your CPI identity. If you want to sign devices in the SAS Portal using your new email address, you will need to make sure that you have the CPI role in the SAS Portal. You should be able to use your CPI credentials for single step verification with no additional set-up required.
