Hello,
I noticed that charges for the Networking API started appearing on my Google Cloud account in August. Prior to this, all of our services were running smoothly without incurring these charges.
I’m trying to understand the purpose of the Networking API and its role in our setup. Specifically, I would like to know if disabling this API would affect the following services:
- Place API
- Maps JavaScript API
- Maps SDK for Android
- Maps SDK for iOS
- Firebase Installation API
- Cloud Messaging
Could someone please clarify if these services depend on the Networking API and what potential disruptions might occur if we disable it?
