I'm getting an internal server error when running a simple BQ query on a table with data in AVRO files on GCS. It fails every time. The data is present and I see nothing I can do from my end to fix it.
An internal error occurred and the request could not be completed. This is usually caused by a transient issue. Retrying the job with back-off as described in the BigQuery SLA should solve the problem: https://cloud.google.com/bigquery/sla. I can't contact support because I don't pay for it and it's absolutely insane to me that something can be entirely broken and there's no way to report that. It seems to have been broken all weekend.
I presume it's a GCS issue because BQ seems to be fine otherwise.
Hard to see why I give Google Cloud my money in these situations.
You may raise an issue in this Public Issue Tracker. Engineers that is working closely to the said products will check your case.
