Any idea why my load balancer has stopped showing? I cannot access it any more although it seems to still work.

Without doing anything and after a few weeks, it is now working as before.

Thanks for reaching out.
By the looks of it, it seems that you already have an existing and working Load Balancer but the UI isn't showing it up. Having said that, have there been any recent changes within your GCP Project before this error occurred? Have you tried using different browsers (including Private and or Incognito)?
In the mean time, please make sure that you have the necessary IAM Roles and Permissions to view your Load Balancers from the console.

Indeed this load balancer that is serving our main corporate website in production is working just fine but we cannot make any changes to it. Have tried to access it from multiple devices and browsers and I am an Owner of the project. There have been no changes that I am aware of that could have caused this.
