Modify Migration center discovery client

Hello,

i have configured Migration center discovery client to send data to a specific project (online mode).

Is there any way to modify settings to connect it to another project or work offline?

The only workaround i have found is to unistall and install the client

Welcome to Google Cloud Community! 

The current implementation of the Migration Center Discovery Client does not offer an in-place way to switch projects or switch between online and offline modes without reinstalling the client. This is a limitation of the current version.

Uninstalling and reinstalling workaround (current method) used is the most reliable way to switch projects or go offline. It ensures you're starting with a clean configuration.
