Monitoring, Logging and VPC traffic

Hello community! I need to know if there is any way to create a file on the VPC in Cloud Logging or Monitoring that alerts you to data traffic only in the data centers I use in Europe and Asia. Is there a way to monitor an alert that works within an interval of less than 5 minutes? I believe that with this, I cannot have a detailed statement of what I should be spending on traffic in the VPC. Thank you for any kind of help

Hi @reiniger1984,

Welcome to the Google Cloud Community!

VPC Flow Logs capture samples of network traffic to and from VM instances, including those serving as nodes in Google Kubernetes Engine. These logs are invaluable for tasks such as network monitoring, forensic analysis, real-time security assessments, and managing costs.

Flow logs can be accessed within Cloud Logging, and you have the flexibility to export these logs to various destinations supported by Cloud Logging's export functionality.

VPC Flow Logs can also sampled packets for a time interval and are aggregated into a single log entry. This time interval can be 5 seconds (default), 30 seconds, 1 minute, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, or 15 minutes.

I hope this helps. Thank you.
