I have created VMs using gVNIC with a compatible OS image previously.
But recently, I've been getting the following error while editing the VM instances:
"Network interface card type is not supported by the selected machine type"
The gVNIC is attached to the individual VM and functioning properly.
However, I cannot modify the settings of the VM instances due to the error,
and cannot change network interfaces due to them being pernament.
How can I solve this problem?
Hello @riverchu2023,
Welcome to Google Cloud Community!
You can try changing it to a machine type that supports gVNIC. If it doesn't work, try re- creating the VM instance instead. In general, gVNIC is supported on most modern machine types in Google Cloud, including those with high memory and CPU configurations. However, it is always a good idea to check the specific machine type to ensure compatibility.
