Rename VM

Hi Team , 

Will changing the name of a VM overwrite custom scopes, such as those defined through the CLI, like the Drive API? Can you please confirm this?.

It will be great if you can share google document link related to this ?

Hi,

AFAIK, scope is assigned into serviceAccount, not the VM name. For sure, entire GC is [1]operating based on VM_ID not VM_name, as name can be changed, vmID not. So I think, that it will not overwrite anything.
