Continuing with our series of articles designed to help you get started with the SAS, the next question we often receive is:
"Does the SAS Support my particular Wireless technology or protocol?"
Yes. Google’s SAS is technology agnostic. It does not provide internet service, nor does it implement, require, or endorse the use of any specific wireless protocol (e.g. 4G LTE vs 5G). The SAS’s role is to regulate interference for incumbent users of the CBRS band (3550-3700 MHz), while providing spectrum access to PAL and GAA users pursuant to the PART96 rule and SAS certification..
What you do with the spectrum once acquired is only limited by your imagination and the hardware you have!
