Server repeatedly locked for DoS attack.

We're now on our third round of Trust and Safety locking our Perforce server, claiming it appears to be committing a DoS attack. Every time, I provide the relevant information on our network usage and why it was sending so much data, and they unlock it a few days (or, in one case, weeks) later.

The problem is they wont tell us what is tripping this system. We know it has something to do with pulling a large amount of data. This has happened every time we've setup our project on a new system. Other than that, Trust and Safety won't give us any guidance on preventing this, Support has said it's outside of the scope of support, and we should ask for guidance here.

The server is using the official image off the marketplace, with Tailscale being used to control access.

Any ideas on where to go from here?

Hi @ROE-Alex,

Welcome to Google Cloud Community!

I believe our 1:1 support which offers technical assistance regarding Google Cloud, would be able to look into this for you. Please see our Cloud Customer Care documentation.

I hope this helps.

Have attempted engaging support.

"I understand that the Trust and Safety team not providing relevant information and guidance is frustrating.

Unfortunately, I can’t provide you further information since we don’t have visibility on your Policy Violation and how to fix them, as this is out of our scope of support and. What we can offer is to provide assistance by helping you expedite the appeal and reinstate your project.

They linked this page, which didn't have anything useful:

Our warning and notification of suspension did not provide any real detail on why it was being suspended. It just says that it was flagged as committing a DoS attack.
