Standard persistent disk restore

I just received an incident case of today from one of our guest hosting a VM cloud with Standard persistent disk 50 GB with none snapshot schedule... What options could we have of any restore sources...

Hello @CarlosxJose ,

Welcome on the Google Cloud Community. If you didn't configured snapshots, or if you don't use Backup & DR solution provided by Google Cloud or if you don't have any kind of backup solution in place, in case if something will goes wrong, you don't have possibility to restore data. In fact if you will not being able to log in to machine ( because of bootdisk failure ) you can always detach DATA DISK, attach to newly created VM and then manage DATA however you want. But in other cases without backup  / snapshot / data replication in case of failure, you will lost your data.
