We have a production server in Taiwan that lost all connectivity to the outside world for about an hour yesterday, between 11 PM and 12 AM Taiwan time. The server was accessible via SSH from the GCP dashboard but not from the outside. Additionally, I couldn't ping any IP addresses from within the VM. Is there a way to determine what happened? Seems like a networking issue. Also, is there a way to be notified in advance about incidents like this if they are due to maintenance?
