Vulnerability reports not available with Rocky Linux and OS not recognized in OS patch management.

I have started to build new Rocky Linux 8.5 VMs to slowly replace existing Centos 7 ones. The OS is displayed correctly  in the 'OS Info' tab of the VM details but Vulnerability reports are not available. They are on VMs using Centos7 and 8.
Secondly the OS(Rocky Linux 8.5) is not recognised on the dashboard of the 'OS Patch Management' console tool.
The OS Config agent might not be fully recognizing Rocky.  Anybody else having the same issue ?

In Google Cloud Platform Rocky Linux 8 is in the General Availability stage since June 21, 2021 and we are listing Rocky Linux in GCE images drop-down list.

According to this Public Google Cloud DocumentationPatch compliance reporting is not supported on Rocky Linux” yet and that's why you can not find any Vulnerabilities under Linux Rocky OS. and also, that is the reason Linux Rocky might not be recognized by the OS config agent in GCP.

Hope you find this information useful
