What are the onpremises workloads supported as part of Backup and DR service (previously Actifio Go)

Does the Backup and DR service in GCP support  backing up of onpremises Standalone Windows AD or Fileservers that are not part of VMWare cluster? The documentation is not clear and there is  not much clarity on  the supported workloads that reside  on-premises from this link

My use case involves designing a Backup and DR Solution for standalone on-premises MSFT servers that are not part of onpremises VMWare cluster.

In summary 2 questions

1. What are the onpremises workloads supported as part of Backup and DR Service (previously called Actifio Go) more specific to onpremises VMWare VMs and standalone MSFT servers

2. What is the backup procedure for onpremises standalone MSFT servers if at all this configuration is supported, where does the recovery appliance reside and what software goes into it?

@dheerajpanyam @Have you received any response for this yet? I am also currently looking at a similar use-case. Do you know on-premise workloads are still supported? I am looking to DR my VMware VMs(on-premise) to Google Compute Engine.

The official documentation does not explicitly mention on-premises backup options. Could you clarify what component is equivalent to Azure's Recovery Services Vault in GCP?

For reference, I reviewed the following page:
Google Cloud Backup and Disaster Recovery Concepts

Please correct me if I’m mistaken.

Thanks,
Darwin Vinoth.
