We have noticed an unexpected and unusually high amount charged for the Cloud Monitoring service since last 4 to 5 days. We also checked previous months' and day-by-day billing, and there was no charge for cloud monitoring. The cloud monitoring service charges us more than $100 per day, and we have not changed or added any new services. It would be great if someone could help me understand this.

recommend contacting Google Cloud Support directly so they can take a look at the backend to check for a possible bug. There was an update in Cloud Monitoring last February 20, 2024, which might have caused the issue.

I contact the google cloud support team and they have adjust the billing amount, After that we have disable to cloud logs from the google cloud log router.
