Hi @maxdd,

Welcome to the Google Cloud Community!

You may refer to this document for a list of possible causes and solutions.

1. User permissions tests: Checks if you have the required IAM permissions to connect to the VM using SSH.
2. Network connectivity tests: Checks if the VM is connected to the network.
3. VM instance status tests: Checks the VM's CPU status to see if the VM is running.
4. VPC settings tests: Checks the default SSH port.

Additionally:
1. Disable any browser extensions that might interfere with your connection, such as antivirus or ad blockers.
2. Consider using Chrome as the browser [1].
3. Try connecting to the VM using a different ISP and device.
4. Disable any VPN or proxy connections.

If the above options don't work, you can contact Google Cloud Support to further look into your case. Thank you!
