unable to ping cloud instance, it worked before

Hi,

I have google cloud instance for a few years and I never have a problem.

The status of instance in google clould console is running.

Now like for 14 days, I cannot access it. I can not not ping the machine, not connect to SSH. Firewall is fine, I haven't changed anything and it worked before.

It is weird, that STOP, and START again will fix the issue, but only for some time. Do you have any idea what the problem could be or who to contact for help?

Do you have the checked the below information?
- Resource utilization of this VM (such as - CPU, Memory and Disk).
- The system logs (such as - dmesg, syslog, journalctl) for any warnings or errors that might indicate resource exhaustion.
- Check the startup scripts or processes running on the instance.
- Check the VPC flow logs to see if traffic to/from the instance is being blocked or dropped.

Great, it helped.

I found out there is memory exhaustion caused by some Python scripts running at the same time, and it probably caused the issue, since it does not occur after minimalization of the number of running those scripts.
