Arcade Monsoon Skill Badge Challenge Update ‌☔

The Skill Badges in The Arcade have stopped raining down, which was totally unexpected. Sadly, the Arcade Monsoon Skill Badge Campaign has been halted.

Unfortunately, our systems have been experiencing a bit of a heatwave due to your incredible pace. To give our engines a much-needed breather, we're putting an end to this challenge. Your enthusiasm for learning and growing has been truly amazing!

We acknowledge your feedback and are grateful for your understanding and patience. Rest assured, your progress in the Arcade Skill Badge Monsoon Challenge is safe with us and we'll be back with more updates and exciting challenges very soon.

As a token of our gratitude for your dedication, we promise to compensate for the time lost during this pause in the future.

Important Note: Starting July 31, 2024, 4 PM IST, the points calculation for skill badges will revert to the previous system: 2 skill badges will be equal 1 Arcade Point!

That's a great question Abhishek!

Skill badge completions before July 31st, 4 PM IST only, will count towards the Skill Badge Monsoon Challenge. Any badges completed after this deadline will not be eligible for points under the challenge rules.

@Yugali Update the time until 11:59 PM, please. There was a problem yesterday that prevented me from finishing my skill badges, and the lab was shut down. Additionally, I'm unable to finish the remaining skill badges today because of a cloud shell terminal error; I'm unable to get logged in, and it shows an error "501 Bad Gateway". I already complained about these in the chat section, and they are looking out. Thus, kindly extend the deadline to tonight.

Out of sheer curiosity @Yugali, if the labs are still (again) working fine now, why are the badges no longer counted?

Please clear my doubt !!

For the Google Cloud Arcade partner which ID we have to use for completing the Skill badges and games? That one which we have submitted in the form or from that one from which we have subscribed for the arcade season 2 ?

Just clear that the partners ID is only for the registration purpose or we have to make a new account for the google cloud from that ID?

For Google Cloud Arcade partner you need to sign up with your corporate/company mail id and you need to complete the lab on those ID's
