Associate Cloud Engineer Certification - Memorize basic, predefined roles and permissions?

Is it necessary to memorize basic, predefined roles and permissions for ACE certification? Role mapping to permissions is very extensive and I am seeking guidance on how much information to absorb and retain. The many-to-many relationship between roles and permissions overwhelms me at times 🙂

Those roles and permissions are constantly tuned and evolved, so you are not expected to know the most esoteric permissions. However, you should know the difference between the basic, predefined, and custom roles, the characteristics of admin, user, and viewer roles, and how they fulfill the least privilege principle.
