I believe Google invites users who completed a lot of courses/labs/paths. I got a popup on CloudSkillsboost website one day to join when I went to continue with my course.
I would say, keep learning and complete as many courses as you can and hopefully you will get the invite.
click on your profile icon > settings > scroll down under Learderboard and leagues uncheck the only option Opt me out of seeing points, leaderboard, and league information.
