It was amazing to attend the first day of Google Cloud Learn event. I'm attending the Big Data and ML, it was really cool to now more about the Big Data, Hadoops, etc.

I did the same thing.  I just re-registered for the correct timezone and cancelled the incorrect one.  I hope this helps!

The email confirmation of the registration I got had a link to click on to manage my registration.  Then once I was on that page, there was a cancel in the upper right.

Hi Everyone,

I am very much excited to go for the particular certifications. I don't have any plan to drop off but also am not sure whether I can join the sessions or not on the said dates (20 Dec & 21 Dec according to IST). So in this regard, may I expect suggestions from organizing team about what should be the correct decision and also if registered and not attended for any specific reason, will it effect somehow or must I compensate anything?

The GCP Assoc. Cloud Engineer exam is a really good one IMO.  Don't let the "Associate" part of the title fool you as it requires just as much general knowledge GCP as the Prof. Cloud Architect exam.  The difference lies in the amount of actual hands on experience you need to have.   ACE is more practical heavy vs PCA which is heavier in theory/design.

I think the GCP ACE cert is a very well-rounded cert and it sets the foundation for the other Professional certs that follow (vs other cloud providers that have an accompanying Associate cert for every Prof cert).  I highly recommend it if you're starting out with GCP and want a good gauge of your experience with it.
