Certification Vouchers

Is there any way that I could get free cloud certification vouchers? Any event or challenges that offer the exam voucher? If not, could you share any tips and ideas about it.

Every month (usually in the second week), a Certification Zone game takes place as one of the Arcade games. 20 persons who complete it first get CDL exam vouchers.

Google has launched Google cloud Innovators "Get Certified Program" , there are two stages , if qualified for the second stage you will have the chance to get a free voucher.Ensure having  a business or entreprise account to be eligible .You can find more information in their website. Good work!

Can you mention any link of that page where it gets updated. It will be easy to look into the updates.

It sounds nice in theory, but to be honest, the chance of a lay person winning one of these vouchers in the Certification Zone in reality is zero.

There are guys who have completely automated the lab walkthroughs and seem to be just waiting to launch their scripts the minute that the Certification Zone competition starts (and likely have automated the waiting part as well with a script that looks at website updates). Plus, they do their automated labs on multiple accounts simultaneously. Since only the first 20 completions win, they will have already won before the rest of us amateurs (I am certainly counting myself in) even notices that the competition had started. 

I do wonder what they are doing with the exam vouchers they win every month (the vouchers seem to be only for the Digital Leader) and suspect that they are just selling them.

It is a really nice idea to give away exam vouchers but the fact that the vouchers are limited to CDL plus the way they are awarded makes the Certification Zone competition much less fun and less relevant than it could be, for someone that starts out learning.

Occasionally, you may find 20-50% reductions, but completely free certifications are indeed hard to find. I guess Google wants you to make some commitment and prepare well for the certification exam.
