Confused with points.

So, i am an absolute beginner in this course set, but I noticed that the first course appears to have a +100 point value, but upon completion I only got 10 points. Am I misinterpreting something? Does it even matter? Are these the same points used to buy courses later? Below will be a screenshot with circles around what I am referring to.

I'm just an individual who is using this to learn to help get a job working with Google Workspace Administration, so any help at all would help. If these are the same points that are used to buy courses later, I'd really care to get it worked out.

First of all welcome to the GCP and in the cloud.

The points you are referring to here are for ranking in the Leaderboard which is accessible at https://www.cloudskillsboost.google/profile/leaderboard and in your case since you just want to complete Google Workspace Administration course in my opinion it doesn't matter, however if you want a better rank in Leaderboard go and grab as many points as you can!

No these are not the same points, to buy courses you need credits, you can see your credits upon clicking profile icon at upper right corner or at https://www.cloudskillsboost.google/my_account/payments
