Hi, I'm having an error with this lab: Running a dedicated Ethereum RPC node on Google Cloud. When doing my first "Check my progress". The laboratory closes me with a message indicating that I have not followed the steps and if I continue like this, my account would be blocked. I do the steps as it appears in the lab, but I don't know why it closes. It is my last lab to be able to finish that section 😕

Yeah, something is wrong with the lab. I got a warning that "I was not following lab instructions" even though I followed the exact instructions the lab provided, and then the lab automatically ended.

Yesterday there was an update to this lab but, It still has an error, I contacted support and they were able to replicate the problem. They will send it (again) to the technical team to try to solve it. They could change this lab for another one, but anyway, we have to wait.

Indeed there has been an update to the lab instructions in order to accomodate for he updated UI in the VM instance creation. In my opinion the updated ui is the reason behind this bug, hence they are actively trying to resolve it, but I can confirm that the issue persists and I sent them a screen capture of my runthrough. I will keep you guys posted on any progress from customer support if on the other hand some of you get an update sooner I would appreciate the heads up.

Hello guys, after intensive troubleshooting the engineering team managed to identify the issue and marked the lab as optional.
