Hi,
I am a developer and I am doing DevOps certification course from igmGuru and Coursera. Now, in this Cloud DevOps Engineering Course of igmGuru, I am not able to understand the topics like-
And in this Cloud DevOps Engineer Professional Certificate by Google from Coursera, I am getting problem in these topics-
Could anyone please describe these above topics or share any recourses for a better understanding.
Thanks in advance.
Hello @raavichouhan
I am glad for you to start your career in DevOps. And I am describing your topics here:
1. A online service called Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) offers safe, scalable compute capability in the cloud. For developers, it is intended to make web-scale computing simpler.
2. A group of managed services known as Amazon Relational Database Service (Amazon RDS) makes it simple to set up, run, and scale databases in the cloud.
3. A Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) network uses Andromeda to construct a virtualized version of a physical network inside Google's production network. In a VPC network, the following occurs: gives your Compute Engine virtual machine (VM) instances connectivity
4. S3: Simple Storage Service is an object storage service offered by Amazon Web Services that is utilised as cloud storage. Elastic Block Store, or EBS, is a block storage device that comes with the instance and can only be used by other instances that are linked to it. It functions similarly to our system's C or D drives and is used to install software.
5. Route 53 can be used to direct users to infrastructure that is located outside of AWS and successfully connects user requests to infrastructure that is operating on AWS, such as Amazon EC2 instances, Elastic Load Balancing load balancers, or Amazon S3 buckets.
6. An administrator can securely manage user access to AWS resources with the use of AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), an AWS service. Who can be authenticated (signed) is controlled by IAM administrators.
7. CloudWatch, which gathers unprocessed data and converts it into comprehensible, near-real-time metrics, can be used to monitor DevOps Guru.
I hope this will help you. and for more information, you can also check these resources :

Hi,
It's great to hear about your dedication to your DevOps certification courses! Understanding topics like Compute Service (EC2), Database Service (RDS), Networking (VPC), Storage (S3), DNS Service (Route53), Authentication (IAM), and Monitoring (CloudWatch) is crucial for mastering Cloud DevOps Engineering.
For Cloud Operations and Service Mesh with Anthos, Terraform for Google Cloud, and Deploying Container Applications, I recommend exploring documentation provided by Google Cloud and Coursera's supplementary materials. Additionally, you can find tutorials, articles, and videos online to deepen your understanding of these topics.
Keep up the good work.
