Hi everyone,
I recently came across the Google Cloud Arcade program and heard about the possibility of earning swag like t-shirts, backpacks, and mugs by completing challenges and labs. I'm excited to participate, but I have a few questions about how the process works:
I’d appreciate any tips or insights from those who’ve participated before. Thanks in advance for your help!
Best regards,
Hey @NDDJayasinghe first of all welcome to the community, The Google Cloud Arcade program offers an engaging way to enhance your cloud skills while earning points that can be redeemed for various swag items. Here's how the process works::-
Earning Points:
Games and Labs: Each month, the Arcade features two new games—an introductory "Level 1" and a more advanced "Level 2." By completing hands-on labs within these games, you earn digital badges. Each badge contributes points toward your total , visit arcade homepage https://go.cloudskillsboost.google/arcade and below each game you can see access code just click enter here sign in or create qwiklabs acccount and then enter the code and join the game .
Skill Badges: For every two skill badges you earn, you receive an 1 point.
Trivia Challenges: Monthly trivia challenges offer another avenue to earn points. Completing these challenges adds 1 point to your point tally.
Prize Counter Availability:
The prize counter opens during specific periods, allowing you to redeem your accumulated points for swag items. To stay informed about these redemption windows, it's advisable to subscribe to The Arcade updates. Keep in mind that points expire after the prize counter closes (gennerally for this cohort we may see prize counter in july)
Available Swag Items:
Typical swag items include backpacks, t-shirts, hoodies, study lamp, mugs, and more. The selection may vary over time, with new items introduced periodicallyor same items like last time most of the swags were repeated .
Tracking Progress:
Arcade team generally sends arcade insider emails having details of all points you have earned so you can refer that also you can calculate using this chart
