I can't access my lab and a warning appears "Lab failed on Thu, 06 Jun 2024 16:16:52 -0400: Sorry, cannot start Lab. Please contact your trainer or administrator. Any credits or tokens you used to start this lab have been refunded".
Hi, pirhottobin,
You need to initiate and execute this lab in incognito mode in Chrome. The warning message then should disappear.
Best,
MC
Hi,
Let us know what lab is it so we can check it too. If you still have issues after @MikaCloud suggestion, you can contact qwiklabs support by choosing one of the below options:
Just let them know what lab has issues and they will be able to advise further. I personally like the chat option.
Hope this helps.

Subject: Trouble Starting Google Cloud Self-Paced Labs in Brave Browser
Hi everyone,
I'm having trouble starting a Google Cloud Self-Paced Lab in Brave Browser. I've received an error message saying "Lab failed to start. Sorry, cannot start lab. Please contact your trainer or administrator. Any credits or tokens you used to start this lab have been refunded."
I've already tried the following troubleshooting steps:
Disabled Shields: Temporarily disabled Brave's Shields for the Google Cloud website.
Incognito Mode: Tried accessing the lab in Incognito mode.
Updated Brave: Ensured I'm using the latest version of Brave.
Cleared Browser Cache and Cookies: Cleared browsing data.
Disabled Extensions: Disabled all extensions one by one.
Despite these attempts, the issue persists.
Has anyone else encountered this problem? Any suggestions or solutions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance.

As a suggestion please try other computer or browser. Sometimes switching to Firefox from Chrome fixed this problem for me.
It seems like there’s an issue with your lab access, and it's great to hear that the credits or tokens have been refunded! This might be a technical glitch, so I’d suggest reaching out to your trainer or admin to get clarity on what’s causing the error. In the meantime, try clearing your browser cache or restarting your session to see if that helps. Hopefully, they’ll resolve it quickly and get you back on track! Have you tried accessing the lab on a different device or browser to rule out any local issues?
