Hello everyone!

Thanks for playing - we have reached the difficult decision to end the Learn to Earn challenge. We’ve been working to return labs to health, but the bugs are still swarming.

We’ll keep working on the bugs, but you’ve worked hard (and played hard!) to gain new skills and reach milestones. If you are eligible for a prize based on badges earned up to this point, watch for an email next week.

Speaking of prizes, we’ll be adjusting tiers. Previously you needed a minimum of four challenge badges to be eligible for swag, plus the pre-requisite skill badge. Given the challenge closure, we’re starting prize eligibility at three Learn to Earn Cloud: Data Challenge badges. You’ll still need the pre-requisite skill badge too.

You can review the badges you’ve earned in your profile. To receive email from us, please check your communication preferences and consider adding us to your address list.

We know we’ve cut this short, and I want to let you know that I’m personally very sorry for the inconvenience. Here are a few alternate routes for adding data skills to your repertoire:

Go on a journey with Looker Connect (Looker is my personal favorite!)
Grow with Google and explore career certificates (I suggest the data analytics track!)
Join Google Cloud experts at a LIVE Data Engineer Spotlight (including a Cloud Hero game!)

Please can you share more details about it, like prize selection on basis of badge as the last 2 badges were in error , so we were not able to complete it . so i have an idea. like you can open the badges which were going to come on 3rd week as they will be fresh .so we can complete our milestones . like you said eligibility will be 3 badges , so in 3 badges we will get only first tier prize ? . or you will be giving all options on first tier only ? please clear the details . 😁Thanks Emily for a great community, I know you tried hard.

Its not fair @emily927 we have given our valuable time to complete the labs ..wven tries 4-5 times each lab around 5-6 hrs because of server dowm of labs. As because of this green badge is not obtained by 99% people..

I request you to atleast give prizes of 2nd tier to people who completed 75% labs atleast as it was done in google cloud facilitator program 2022.
