Many Quest with challenge lab without "skill badge" in the name, does it count in Arcade point?
ex: https://www.cloudskillsboost.google/quests/211
the name of the badge is "Deploy Google Cloud Framework Data Foundation for SAP | Data Management"
This name doesn't contain "skill badge" and the quest has challenge lab.
My idea is to look at the search filtering tags as, to me, this is likely what they will use in a badge calculation.
When searching for "Deploy Google Cloud Framework Data Foundation for SAP | Data Management" on Catalog | Google Cloud Skills Boost it is neither categorised as a completion or a skill badge. The quest only appears when the "any badge" filter is used. It is categorised as neither a skills badge or a completion badge.
Compare to "Predict outcomes of a soccer match quest". This is a similar badge in terms of the design not having skill badge in the name but the quest description describing it as an opportunity to earn a skills badge.
What we find, in this case, is that this badge does appears when filtered as a skill badge. Therefore, unlike the SAP badge, it does appear to be a skills badge.
Catalog | Google Cloud Skills Boost
So that is how it looks like from a database perspective. However, if it is really calculated using the cloudskillsboost filtering tags, then you might feel hard done by due to the quest description stating "Earn a skill badge..."
My advice is to earn every single badge possible as soon as possible and reap the benefits.
Looks like my theory was wrong. Nice counter example.
