Can anyone help me solving this issue?

This is the code which I have used to install cert-manager:

kubectl apply -f https://github.com/jetstack/cert-manager/releases/download/v0.16.0/cert-manager.yaml

Try very carefully, step by step. Because even I was having issues a lot. I struggled for days but then I came across this video and it helped me a lot following step by step slowly. I recommend you to do the same and you will attain success.

Have you tried updating issuer.yaml file with Service Account mail id and not the GCP lab mail id.

Today I tried this lab one more time in morning, same issue I faced.

But just now I tried again and it worked.

Make sure when you are updating issuer.yaml file, use your Service Account mail id and not the GCP lab mail id. I think many people get stuck here.

It can be possible.

But in my case the main issue was installation of cert-manager.

 I have the same problem, T do everything minimally and in the same way it give me the message " Please install cert-manager.io " .. I have reviewed everything step by step. and it gives me the same error...   

I have tried vwith v0.16.0 and v1.2.0 and nothing returns the same error...

I would say try this lab in evening. It may sounds weird.

I had the same problem and no video worked for me. My friend had no problem in doing this lab so I did this lab on his pc and it worked.

The same thing happened to me, there is a problem with the method as they review the steps executed in this particular lab. I only reached 95% of the lab and when I did the same but on another PC I was able to complete it, I don't know if it is due to a connectivity or connection width problem

i tried using 

kubectl apply --validate=false -f https://github.com/jetstack/cert-manager/releases/download/v0.16.0/cert-manager.yaml  and it worked fine
