Problems with GSP1269 - Supervised Fine Tuning with Gemini for Question & Answering Lab

Hi,

I'm trying to complete the GSP1269 lab, but my tuning job always seems to be stuck on "Preparing for tuning..." until the timer expires for it.

It never seems to actually start the tuning job within the available time for the lab.

Its  purely luck. depending on load on server. tried four times , completed fourth time with just 1 min left.

cell no.35 supposes to complete in 30mins. but even when your luck is on your side, tuning job is completing 100% , with just 8-9 mins left and you need to be well planned to complete last task , which requires around 5-6 mins(but completes in 8-9 mins)

If luck is not your side tuning job is completing only 50% in 78 mins..

Lab shows 2:15:00 but actual time is 1:30:00, I request all send mail to support to increase time by 45 to 60mins and also update against lab feedback.

I've contacted support about it. I was able to complete it though by interrupting the kernel towards the end when it was taking too long and then just running the next statement.

Its only temporary solution for completing lab but not learning point . Increasing the time is the best solution, so that people can observe tuning and learn
