Hello, I am on track to get certified as a cloud network engineer. My primary source of study materials are the GCP documentation. I have been using the exam guide to help identify my study material. But there are a few topics which I can't identify the best material. Perhaps you can offer some suggestions.
Section 3.4 Integrating on-premises DNS with Google Cloud
Section 3.4 Split-horizon DNS
Section 3.6 Packet Mirroring in single and multi-VPC topologies
Section 3.6 Routing and inspecting inter-VPC traffic using multi-NIC VMs (e.g., next-generation firewall appliances)
Section 4.3 Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) attributes (e.g., ASN, route priority/MED, link-local addresses)
Section 5 Firewalls (e.g., cloud-based, private)
thanks
I have recently published my book on how to ace the GCP PCNE certification. Contents map 1:1 with exam objectives from Google. See below page references for each of your questions, assuming you use the paperback - the book is available on Kindle as well. There are a number of diagrams, illustrating each topology for each topic to help you understand the concepts.
Section 3.4 Integrating on-premises DNS with Google Cloud - Page 300-302
Section 3.4 Split-horizon DNS - Page 303
Section 3.6 Packet Mirroring in single and multi-VPC topologies - Page 319-322
Section 3.6 Routing and inspecting inter-VPC traffic using multi-NIC VMs (e.g., next-generation firewall appliances) - Page 322-331
Section 4.3 Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) attributes (e.g., ASN, route priority/MED, link-local addresses) - Page 362-369
Section 5 Firewalls (e.g., cloud-based, private) - Page 406-409
I hope this helps and best of luck on your exam.
Thanks! I will take a look. Would you be willing to private message me a sample of the book?
@KrazedKatt Just sent you a private message.
