Is reaching 30 arcade points adequate for an Associate Cloud Engineer certification voucher?
Answer: Yes! Reaching 30 arcade points is enough to get your Associate Cloud Engineer certification voucher. All you need to do is be one of the top 20 Arcade point scorers!
I have the Google GCDL certification. Can I pursue the ACE certification?
Answer: Yes, GCDL certification holders are encouraged to pursue the ACE certification. Even better, the top 20 arcade point earners will receive a 100% discount on their ACE certification vouchers.
I completed the Cloud Digital Learning Path before the Certification Challenge was announced on 25th October, 2023. Is there a different path to qualify for the voucher?
Answer: No need to worry. The path to qualification remains the same. Work hard, climb the ranks, and aim to be one of the top 20 arcade point earners to secure your 100% off ACE certification voucher.
Which learning path do we need to complete and when (please share the link)? Or will the learning path be available in November?
Answer: Users need to complete the Cloud Digital Leader Learning Path between 1st November, 2023 and 30th November, 2023 and earn 30 arcade points (that includes the bonus Arcade points that you have earned) to qualify for the GCDL voucher. Click here!
(Please note that it is essential to complete the GCDL learning path between 1st November, 2023 and 30th November, 2023. Course completions before or after this period will not be eligible for the GCDL voucher)
Is this a complementary offer, or do we redeem certification in exchange for 30 points, like swapping swag for certification?
Answer: Rest assured, this is a complementary offer. It is not in exchange for swag. Eligible users will receive both certification vouchers and their well-deserved swag rewards. So, light up your diwali with the Google Cloud Study Lamp! Remember, double the rewards, double the motivation!
Will the point count start from now, or will the points I've collected from July until now also be counted as a total of 30 points?
Answer: The point count for the challenge started on June 5, 2023, so any points you've accumulated since then will be included in your total count.
Do I need to complete the CDL and ACE pathways to qualify for the certification voucher?
Answer: To qualify for the GCDL exam voucher, you need to complete the Cloud Digital Leader Learning Path. However, only the top 20 point scorers in the Arcade will receive ACE exam vouchers, and no specific learning path is mandatory for ACE.
How can I find out who the current top 20 scorers are and where can I check my current rank?
Answer: Be sure to check out the Arcade Insider emails which will feature the top 20 scorers till the next prize counter opens.
Are bonus points included in the 30 Arcade points threshold?
Answer: Yes, bonus points earned via August Skill Badge Monsoon, Arcade Facilitators Program, etc are also included in the 30 arcade points threshold, giving you more chances to qualify for the certification voucher.
Is it essential to complete the entire GCDL learning path?
Answer: To qualify for the certification voucher, it's essential to complete the GCDL learning path. It will help boost your knowledge and skills, providing valuable support for your certification journey.
I've recently joined the Arcade. How can I earn 30 arcade points before this campaign ends?
