Have you been following trivia this month? Hold onto your keyboards - today we’re launching a totally new type of trivia challenge!
While I have your attention 😉 please note that trivia is SHORTER than usual this month. We’re going to end early (before the Arcade prize counter).
Back to what’s new! You’ll notice this week’s trivia is both a lab and a quiz. You’ll want to launch both the lab *and* the quiz, at the same time.
Here’s how it works:
- Enroll in the trivia quest (if you haven’t already).
- Open the “Challenge environment” lab.
- Start the lab.
- In a different tab, open the “Challenge environment” quiz.
- Start the quiz.
- Move between tabs (or windows) to complete both, in parallel.
The lab is a Google Cloud environment that contains the things you need to answer quiz questions (already pre-built for you). You’ll use the lab environment to answer questions in the quiz.
You do not need to perform typical lab tasks (like creating a firewall or running a query).
Important: You’ll want to start both the lab and the quiz, at the same time.
FAQs:
- What if my lab ends before I finish the quiz?
A: You’ll be able to take a lab 5 times before you exhaust your lab quota.
- What if I forget to start the lab when I start the quiz?
A: No worries! Open a new tab, and use it to start the lab. No problem if you start them a few minutes apart.
- What if I forget to start the quiz when I start the lab?
A: Same as above, open a new tab and use it to start the quiz. No problem if you start them a few minutes apart.
- Do I need to take the lab too?
A: Yes, you’ll need to start both the lab and the quiz.
