Unable to complete Gemini for Google Cloud Learning Path due to one broken lab

I've completed all the required training and labs for the Gemini for Google Cloud Learning Path except for one lab that has been broken since last Thursday, and potentially longer.

The lab is part of the Develop GenAI Apps with Gemini and Streamlit course.  I'll include more information below, but I'm hoping to remove the requirement for the lab that is having issues until they are resolved as it is not central to the focus of the course.

The specific lab that is having issues is Introduction to Function Calling with Gemini.  Qwiklabs was not able to provide specifics on when the issues would be resolved.

I have completed similar notebooks and python examples and have summarized some notes on the function calling pattern in this gist.

Labs require credits to be launched and performed. You need to buy credits or ask for it from someone sharing them. You can ask for them in the cloud community in a separate post, or contact someone who is doing a giveaway. There are certain procedures to be followed for that, you might want to check the FAQ section and guidelines for more clarity. You can also reach out to chat support in this case too, so that they may explain it to you in details.
