It means 1 arcade point is already in our account 

Thanks for acknowledging the mistakes committed by the Arcade team and also listening to the concern of the participants.
I hope that this discrepancy of points would not be there in the next Arcade & stock of prizes should be sufficient enough so that everyone can redeem what they like.
Hope that I get desk collective in this upcoming Arcade season

Suggestions

  • Removing skill badges x points criteria and adding new g--ames will reduce this issue as all badges would be new so no chance of duplicate entries
  • Increasing swags stocks as many failed to order desk collective also adding new goodies like keyboards , digital storages, Smart speakers
  • No change in rules like last time Please mention all rules before the event starts and that rule will be valid till entire cohort .
  • Clear mention of which account to use like we need to create old or new ( i think duplicate badge issue arose due to old id being used or the same badge god upraded )

 

Summary

  • Just remove the skill badges option of earning points so that people can use their old accounts or if you are willing to add skill badges too then mention create a new account 

As per me the old model of earning g---ame badges including trivias was best .

And I missed the desk collective too.

I had 48 points but the mail came without the link and I missed the desk collective and charger lit that I wanted because by the time the second correct mail came along, they were out of stock. So first come first serve rule also needs a revisit.  Somehow, the rule doesn't seem fair. Please consider this suggestion too.

Agreed. Please revise the first come first serve because students are in different time zones and we don't have a fixed time to open the prize counter. Staying awake for 24 hours doesn't quite seem fair.

Thank you, @Yugali. In general, the only thing I am asking is that there is transparency and consistency in whatever levels are available, so that we, as users, don't end up with unwelcome surprises. In particular, the duplicated skill badges issue for the Generative AI learning paths is a technical one that needs to be resolved regardless of whether it will be used to award arcade points.

We really appreciate their dedication and the positive impact they've had in the Arcade Program. Their efforts in providing learning opportunities and exciting swags have clearly made a significant difference. 👏💯 Kudos to both excellent program managers and administrators! @Yugali @emily927 

- Our excitement grew as she kept coming up with swag drop posts in the community with amazing swag features.
- She gave you a lot of bonus Points in last Cohort of Arcade Ended Dec 20th, 2023
- She splits the One Month Trivia badge into 4 weekly badges so you can bank NOT JUST 1 but 4 Arcade Points into your account.
- She gave you Bonus Points in the Arcade Facilitator Program.

- She Launched August Skills Badges Moonsoon so that you may earn more bonus points by completing featured Skills badges in that Particular week of August
- She brought Diwali Certification Challenge and Provided you certification vouchers along with Swag Redemption at the same Time

What they have brought to the arcade is truly impressive and their hard work for us really deserve a lot of appreciation and applause! 👏💯
Indeed, despite all this, man proves to be ungrateful.
It is disheartening when efforts go unnoticed, but expressing gratitude for their hard work can make a positive difference.

Listen mr @Babar_Ali, that's not what I want to say you are turning it into wrong direction and I'm not ungrateful okay. I respect @Yugali too and what I said earlier is because of last moment problem with everyone here okay I accept that yugali provide 4 points instead of 1 I appreciate that but I'm not ungrateful understand. I just express my POV. Select your word properly again I'm saying I AM NOT UNGRATEFUL, I RESPECT @Yugali TOO.
