Buttons do not work with the option to stay in the same tab

When I add a button to change the page or go to another report without opening a new tab, it initially works normally. However, when I refresh the page, it starts opening a new tab, even without selecting that option.

From my understanding and based on the forum discussions, it seems this issue occurred recently. I have another set of dashboards created last year, where all buttons can navigate to other pages within the same tab. However, the dashboard I recently began creating a couple of weeks ago is faced with the issue both you and the other forum poster described. Unfortunately, until the Looker Studio staff can offer some solution and/or debug the problem, it seems all we can do is use Looker Studio's built-in navigation bar.
