I have a data base from Google Sheets detailing an organization's expenses, which is linked to another database that details the established budgets. I have created a table to compare the monthly expenses and budget. The expense and budget values are correct, but when creating a calculated field on this table to divide "expenses" by "budget," the resulting value is incorrect.
In the first row, the value should be: (172,381.94/205,238.18) = 0.8399..., but instead, it shows 175.64.
Additionally, when I review the formula, it appears to be corrupt and is displayed as follows:
I have tried various methods to resolve this issue but have not been successful. Dear forum, I seek your assistance.
Hi @Dave05, thank you for your post!
If this is a calculated field that has worked previously and is now not working as expected, this may be a bug. If you are able, you can report the issue to our team by following these instructions (https://support.google.com/looker-studio/answer/13606940)
I also wanted to share a resource for troubleshooting calculated fields in case this might also provide some ideas for other issues to test for: https://support.google.com/looker-studio/answer/7569962?hl=en&sjid=3281759576037418310-NC#troublesho...
