Can't change standard period to automatic from manual

Recently I have been experiencing issues with choosing my standard period. Every time I enter one of my dashboards, it seems to be on manual. Because I have a date filter on top of my report, I'd like to make this automatic, so that the date changes if I change the period in my date picker.

So, I'm able to select 'Automatic', but then if I select a different element on my dashboard, it  just automatically changes back to manual.

Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, is there a way to fix this? Thank you in advance!

In my case I needed to set up an specific standard period, something like Last 7 days and then I updated to auto and It worked. Before that the standard period was custom: Auto date range
