Community Connector Issue

Good day all. I am currently trying to connect my Looker studio to my database from App Sheet, I've successfully linked them, however when I try to create a report I get the following error.

App schema does not match configured report schema. You might need to reconfigure your data source.

I've contacted App Sheet but the issue is not on that side, evidently. Can anyone give me an idea on a solution to this?

Hi @CameronH, thanks for your post!

It sounds like maybe the configuration of the fields in the connection don't match the underlying data set - you can edit the data source to view the configuration, and make any changes to the field types that you might need.

I also found a tworelated Community posts. One implies that the permissions in AppSheet were the issue, and the other implies that the field type configuration was the issue.

Neither of these solution work. I've tried different data sets with varying levels of complexity, reformatting, changing field types, ect. Has any progress been made on this issue?

The work around we found was using different metrics for our data sets. It appeared to be causing a conflict when used with certain data sources.
