Couldn’t send scheduled email

Hello the community,

Since few days, I have this message:

Couldn’t send scheduled email: ""

Data Studio encountered an error running this report and was unable to send scheduled email to recipients. View the report in your browser to troubleshoot the error.

I didn't do anything wrong or change anything. Someone could help ?

I've got the same issue with a bunch of report

I have this same issue.  My scheduled reports have not sent an email since Nov. 7, 2024.

Same problem here. Download works without problems, but not the scheduled reports.

If they are here. they are being very silent

We have 50+ liquor, studio reports, and since October one our monthly scheduled send of reports have all failed. There are no known errors in the report, and when we attempt to manually send, they also fail. We’ve been having to manually download and manually email and have not been able to find a solution.

Hi everyone, I found that an email was mistyped and that there was a table with the data source corrupted.

The workaround that I have found (it was mentioned on one of the many threads about this but apologies I can't find it) is to change the sender.  I changed all the reports to send from a different editor, and that solved the issue.  For how long, I am not sure.  It's been working for over a week now.

I suspect that Google is blocking certain email addresses/accounts from sending.

It's a pity that Google has not acknowledged this or that anyone on this forum has provided and update.  Seems to be typical now for Google to be silent until after they have fixed the problem, and then bury it in one line in an update report!

I also confirmed that it was sent normally because the editor gave me permission to send it to another account, which is the same way.

Progress to this method seems to be the solution at the moment, but it may have been limited to some users.

Do you have looker studio pro? I can't see an option to change sender in my account. Pulling my hair out over this issue!

We had a little piece of code sitting outside the main page content that was causing the fatal error.  we removed it and we've been able to send looker reports via automated email thru looker now.

My scheduled reports resumed working yesterday as if nothing ever happened. Hope the same for all of you!

We are sending many hundreds of reports a month.
Stopped on 4th December.

Can "Send now" or "Schedule."

Hope Google will fix it soon.

me too. 400+ reports and stopped a while ago. Have been waiting. Last week about one third went out, yesterday - 3 went out. 😞

I have also had this issue off and on since November. Switching senders works for awhile but not permanently it seems.

It would be create you could take a look at this issue. If not for the error, perhaps for the message itself. This still speaks of the ‘Data Studio’.

It's a relief to hear that 3 months later this is finallly being looked at! Thank you!

There is nothing to screenshot. some scheudled reports have started working again without any warning or notice.

However I did notice reports that aren't being sent on a schedule seem to show this when you click "Schedule delivery"
