Custom Date Range and Time aggregation Granularity Control

Hi, I am trying to add 2 custom controls for a comparative time series chart in Looker Studio and need help on how to do that:

• Date Range Filter: This would lets users select a date range (day and month) that applies across all years, ignoring the year in the selection.
• Date/Week/Month Granularity Control: Buttons to switch the chart's time aggregation i.e. Date-Week-Month. However, Choosing date as Granularity , it currently breaks the year-over-year comparison, showing a single line instead of separate years.
