Dashboards Failing to Connect to Data Sets and Custom Formulas Invalid

Hi everyone,

I’ve been experiencing an issue with my Looker Studio dashboards since yesterday. All my dashboards, which were working fine before, now show the following error:

"Looker Studio cannot connect to your data set. The data source no longer has access to the underlying data set. Please contact the data source owner to fix it."

Steps I’ve already taken to troubleshoot:

  • Tried reloading the data
  • Reconnected the data sources

Unfortunately, nothing seems to fix the issue. In addition to this, all the custom formulas that were working fine before are now showing as invalid. I'm not sure what else to try.

Is anyone else experiencing this, or does anyone have suggestions on how to resolve this issue?

Hi there, I'm having a similar issue.  When I use the dashboards I own, I have no problem, but when the people I share them try to apply any filter, an error like the one you mention appears.

It happens with all my dashboards

were you able to find a solution?
