Hello.
I have a dashboard I am currently building here: https://lookerstudio.google.com/reporting/a262fc7d-b512-4b64-97c5-5437ddfd05ee
On the paid media page, I pretty much want to give an entire overview of all out paid channels (meta and google) and then provide the option to select different channels and the data will only show the values from that.
E.g. When both channels are selected it shows the total spend and total clicks, but when google is just selected you only see the spend and clicks from there.
The data is being pulled from two data sources which are google sheets which the exact same columns, just different values in the rows.
I have then blended the two sources so that the total spend and total clicks can be shown and used my own calculation fields to work (sum(Spend (Meta Ads))+sum(Spend (Google Ads)).
Everytime I try to use a drop down filter I can only use the channel from the meta ads source or the google ads source.
I created my own calculation (COALESCE(Channel (Google Ads), Channel (Meta Ads))) and that work from provide the two options to select. However, selecting each channel doesn't change the data on the dashboard.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
same issue, did you figure it out?
